On August, 22nd 1851, a fleet race between the New York Yacht Club's America and 15 yachts of the Royal Yacht Squadron raced around the Isle of Wight off Southampton and Portsmouth in Hampshire, England. The race was witnessed by Queen Victoria and the future Edward VII and won by America.

Accurately reproduced from the original oil painting, this image is printed on canvas, mounted to a board and treated with an historic looking varnish.
